About Us

ARES Accelerator is a startup and SME accelerator specialized in the security and defense sectors, serving the Italian national system.
ARES Accelerator stands out for its open innovation management and corporate finance services, with a strong ESG-oriented approach.

It also provides facilities, including real estate assets, suitable for hosting innovative startups, such as dedicated spaces, technological equipment, ultra-broadband internet access systems, meeting rooms, videoconferencing systems, digital whiteboards, printers, and all necessary tools for simulations and prototype evaluation.

ARES Accelerator maintains regular collaborations with public institutions, universities, public and private research centers, industrial partners, financial investors (club deal investors, venture capital, private equity, investment funds), national and international credit institutions, as well as national and international insurance companies.

ARES Accelerator, incorporated as a capital company based in Italy, operates in accordance with Article 25, paragraphs 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Decree-Law No. 179 of October 18, 2012, “Further urgent measures for the growth of the country”(Official Gazette No. 245 of October 19, 2012 – Ordinary Supplement No. 194), as amended by Law No. 193 of December 16, 2024, “Annual law for the market and competition 2023” (Official Gazette No. 295 of December 17, 2024).
From a regulatory standpoint, the business acceleration activity is defined by the Ministerial Decree of December 20, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. ARES Accelerator meets the requirements set out in Annexes “A” and “B” of the decree.

Management team

ARES Accelerator is governed by a team of senior professionals with specialized experience and expertise in business, finance, innovation, aerospace, underwater technologies, and critical infrastructure.
In addition, the accelerator benefits from a permanent technical-engineering structure and a dedicated managerial and financial consulting unit.
